National Pan-Hellenic  Council of Washington, DC

the President's Corner

Welcome to the Washington DC National Pan-Hellenic Council (DCNPHC) Website!

Thank You for taking the time to stop by and visit with us and I invite you to take a look around and learn more about
our Council Affiliates, our Programs, and to participate in any of our upcoming Council activities. As President,
I want to extend a special thanks to my phenomenal Executive Board, each of the 16 member chapters of the DCNPHC, and our delegates for making this an award winning Council.

I truly consider it a privilege and honor to have this opportunity to serve as the Council President for
2018—2020 term and I am looking forward to continuing the work of those that have come before me. In the
District of Columbia, we work hand-in-hand to live up to our purpose of fostering cooperation among our member chapters in dealing with matters of mutual concern, to work together to improve the Washington, DC community,
to support undergraduate growth and development, and to use our collective influence to promote the
general welfare of men, women, and children in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

I’d like to take a minute to share with you how the goals of this Administration will foster this very ideal through
a three-prong approach, which I fondly call the community CUP.

  1. Continuity—We will be committed to developing the next generation of our leaders through successful
    mentoring and succession planning;
  2. Unity—We will focus on continuing to build relationships across our 16 member chapters and in our
respective communities, in an effort to promote community cooperation; and
  3. Participation—We will increase active participation of our 16 member chapters through engagement
with the respective Chapter Presidents for cross organization collaboration and cooperation.

“DCNPHC: Stronger As One” is this administration’s theme and the driving force to serve our communities
and continue to come together, with mutual respect, to further serve all who live and work in the Nation’s capital.

Yours In Greek Service
