About Us

The National Pan-Hellenic Council of Washington, DC (DCNPHC) is comprised of sixteen (16) affiliated chapters from nine (9) historically Black fraternities and sororities chartered in the District of Columbia. Our respective organizations have similar goals, recognize the need for coordination and cooperation, and agree that there is strength in numbers.

Mission

The mission of DCNPHC is to encourage local sororities and fraternities to concern themselves with programs designed to help meet the needs of their respective communities; to perpetuate constructive fraternity and sorority relationships; to assist collegiate Pan-Hellenic Councils with the implementation of the National Pan-Hellenic Council goals; to address, coordinate, and develop action strategies on matters of mutual concern to the affiliate organizations; and to serve as the conduit for such plans as may be developed.
